Completed at the end of January, 2008. This piece had been evolving steadily for several months. Always there, urging me back to it to add a little more... Suddenly, I was drawn into it and became quite obsessed with working on its final, evolving stage. Like the final stages at a birth.

Having now finished it, I can sit in front of it and feel none of the compulsion to tweak and dabble with it, anymore. It's something of a relief, to be able to just sit in the same room and to be able to look at and admire it.

I don't think it's alive, but, then again...
